Privacy Policy

Effective September 29, 2026

Bank the Date is the trade name of Kasa Knight LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Bank the Date," "we," "us"), which operates bankthedate.com (the "Site"). Right now, the Site does one simple thing: it describes the product we are building and lets you join a waitlist ahead of our January 2027 launch. This policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. When the product itself launches, it will have its own, more detailed privacy policy.

Information we collect

We collect the information you give us when you join the waitlist: your email address, your name if you choose to share it, and whether you signed up from the couples page or the venues page. If you email us at hello@bankthedate.com, we receive whatever you include in your message.

We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on the Site, and we do not use cookies to profile you. Like most websites, the providers that host and secure the Site may keep standard server logs, which can include IP addresses and browser information, for security and operations.

How we use it

We use waitlist information to manage the waitlist, respond when you contact us, and send occasional updates about our launch and product. That is the whole list. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that make the Site run: our database provider (Supabase), our hosting provider (Render), our domain and email forwarding provider (Porkbun), and our email provider (Google). Each processes information on our behalf to provide their service. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a financing, merger, or sale of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply until updated.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist information while we are building toward launch and while we send launch updates. If you ask us to delete your information, we will.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time, and you can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing hello@bankthedate.com. We will respond to every request.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including access controls on our database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Children

The Site is intended for adults planning weddings and running wedding businesses. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date. A material change will be flagged clearly on the Site or by email.
